When a Medallion series smoke or carbon monoxide transmitter signals a warning to the Shake-Up receiver, it activates a bed vibrator to wake you up and alert you to the potential danger. You can position the bed vibrator between your mattress and box spring, inside your pillowcase or place the receiver on your nightstand. Then just plug the receiver into any standard 110-volt electrical outlet.
